A strong westerly wave is affecting most parts of the country and likely to persist in the upper parts of the country till tomorrow.

Widespread intermittent rain-wind/thunderstorm (with snowfall over hills) is expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, upper/central Punjab and north/northeastern Balochistan. Moderate to heavy rain/snow may also occur in upper parts during evening/night. Rain wind-thunderstorm is also likely at few places in south Punjab, Sindh and South Balochistan.
