Synoptic Situation

A westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country and likely to persist till 20th April.

Thursday

Mainly dry weather is expected over most parts of the country, while hot in southern parts. However, rain windstorm/thunderstorm (with few hailstorm) is expected at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Friday

Rain windstorm/thunderstorm is expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Punjab, Potohar region, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan while, heavy rain/hailstorm is likely at isolated places.

Past 24 Hour Weather

Hot and dry weather prevailed in most parts of the country, while very hot in southern parts. Rain-windstorm/thunderstorm (with few hailstorm) occurred in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pothohar region, Islamabad and Kashmir.
