Rain Wind- thunderstorm predicted in the country from Thursday to Saturday

Met Office informed that a westerly weather system is likely to enter upper parts of the country on Thursday evening and likely to persist till Saturday. Under the influence of this weather system:

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
  • Rain Wind-thunderstorm (with few hailstorm) with snowfall over the hills is expected in Chitral, Swat, Dir, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Peshawar, Charsadda, Swabi, Mardan, Kuram & Kohat from Thursday to Saturday and in Bannu, D I Khan during Thursday(evening) to Friday.
Punjab
  • Wind-thunderstorm with rain (few hailstorm) is expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Chakwal, Attock Sargodha, Mianwali, Khushab, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Sahiwal, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Mandi-Bahuddin, Gujrat, Sialkot during Friday and Saturday.
  • Rain with dust raising winds/dust storm may also likely in D.G Khan, Multan, Bahawalpur and Bahawalnagar on Friday.
Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan
  • Rain with Wind-thunderstorm & snowfall over the hills is expected in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan from Thursday(evening) to Saturday.
Balochistan
  • Wind-thunderstorm rain is expected at Quetta, Pashin, Zhob, Chaman, Qila Saifullah and Qila Abdullah on Thursday to Friday(morning).
Sindh
  • Dry weather is expected in the province during the period. However dust raising winds are expected in Sukkur, Jacobabad and Larkana.
Note
  • PSL matches on Friday & Saturday at Rawalpindi are likely to be disturbed.
