Met Office informed that present weather system is likely to persist till Saturday. Under the influence of this weather system:

• Rain-thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills is expected in Quetta, Zhob, Awaran, Lasbella, Ziarat, Barkhan, Khuzdar, Sibbi, Naseerabad, Turbat and Qila Saifullah, Sukkur and Larkana during Thursday/Friday.
• Rain-thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills is expected in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Kohat, Peshawar, Buner, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Kurum, Bannu, Waziristan, Islamabad, Potohar region, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Jhang, Sialkot, Sahiwal, Okara, T. T Singh, Faisalabad, Bhakkar, Layyah, Multan, D. G Khan, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during Friday/ Saturday.
• Murree and Galliyat may receive good rain/snowfall on Friday/Saturday.
• Landsliding may occur in hilly areas of Kashmir, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa and Gilgit-Baltistan during Friday/Saturday.
• Temperature are likely to fall and foggy conditions intensify after this wet spell.
